Kaboğlu

Constitutional Lawyer ve Deputy of Istanbul


He graduated from Ankara University in 1994. He doctorated at the University of Limoges and Ankara University in 1981. Subsequently, he became a docent in 1987, and later, he became a professor at Marmara University, the Faculty of Law in 1994. Not only his countless scientific articles had been published in foreign languages, but also he had been written numerous books about Constitutional law and human rights.

He was a guest lecturer in several universities that are abroad. Particularly at Université Paris/Sorbonne (France), Universite Athenes (Greece), Université de Siena (Italy), and Université de Sfax (Tunisia). In the general elections that occurred in 2018, he became a deputy. Since then he has been continuing his task as a deputy.

Scenarist, Producer ve Director


After receiving his law degree at Marmara University, he studied film in New York City. In addition to writing and directing five short films that have been shown at various festivals domestically and internationally, he wrote and directed music videos and served as director of photography on a documentary.

His award-winning feature debut Toll Booth was screened at numerous prestigious international film festivals. Toll Booth is the first Turkish film ever to have a one-week theatrical run at MoMA in New York. Ivy, which made its world premiere in Sundance Film Festival, is his second feature film.

Many of the films he has written and directed received awards in diversified national and international festivals, especially the Golden Orange Film Festival.
